Renovating a closed elementary school, agriculture theme park was designed. We were in charge of landscape design and construction. Respecting the nature which has nurtured children, we tried to plant the seeds of the land’s memory which can be inherited to the next generation. We created flower fields, sculptures, and a policy stone to welcome visitors. In addition, we designed a rear garden with Sweet Potato oven and terrace for Cherry Café to accommodate various events. Another unique experience was to remodel a trailer to create a passenger car pulled by an agricultural tractor. We were also in charge of the highlights of this park: Japanese chestnuts forests and royal farm where visitors can rent and harvest products. While focusing on the overall theme of the park to “plant, grow, show, harvest” agricultural products, we put attention to every detail. Providing fields where people can enjoy the fertility of land, the landscape we designed provides surprise, expectation and dream for visitors to take responsibility for the future of agriculture.
