The hotel was planned on a hill across the river from the Four Seasons Hotel in Ubud, Bali. We wanted to construct a landscape with trees and stones in a radius of about 10 km. We went to Amanpuku, the god of the land, to pay our respects to him, and tried to integrate the architecture and the landscape, taking into consideration the cultural taboos.

バリのウブドのフォーシーズンホテルの川向かいの丘に計画されたホテル。半径10キロ程度の樹木や石を使いランドスケープを構築したいと考えました。地の神様であるアマンクーに挨拶に行き、文化的な禁忌事項に配慮した上で、建築とランドスケープが融合する事を試みました。
