Project for a Japanese-style restaurant that conveys a tea ceremony worldview We worked on the design and construction of the wall and other interior design elements such as displays of flower arrangement vases and tiny tsuboniwa gardens. Following sukiya-style, we emphasized authenticity when selecting the variety of materials. The stones were placed following a Shoseien garden motif, and the reused paving stones from traditional Kyoto machiya houses brought out character. A pounded-earth wall finished in slightly bright colors and displays using washi paper together produce relaxed, Japanese-style space but with more colors than usual. Artwork uses withered pine or rusty iron to convey a downcast air.

「茶」の世界観を感じる和風飲食店舗 空間のベースとなる壁面や、花器や坪庭のディスプレイ等の内装の提案・施工を手がけた。 数寄屋をテーマに様々な本物志向の素材を使用。 渉成苑をモチーフに組んだ石組みは、京都の町家で使われていた 庭の敷き石を再利用し、風合いを感じるものとなった。 少し鮮やかに仕上げた版築壁や、和紙を用いたディスプレイにより 落ち着いた和の空間に彩りをそえた。 また、枯れた松や錆びた鉄によるアートワークによりわびた風情を表現した。
