Located in a sports park in Iizuka, Fukuoka, this project consisted of demolishing an old hotel to be transformed into a hotel and glamping facility. The size of the facility is 22000 m2. Through the landscape proposal we had to consider what kind of sports park it was going to be, where the hotel should be located, and how we can invite people to the location. Our first inspiration was to create a place where people can go back to their roots. Striving to design a space that defies the recent trend of glamping facilities, we adopted Palm Springs as the concept, providing guests with an escape from their daily routine.

福岡県飯塚市にある運動公園の中にある古いホテルの解体に伴うホテルとグランピング施設の計画です。施設面積は22000m2。運動公園のどの場所で計画するか、ホテルをどう配置するか、又どのような試みが人を呼べるのかをランドスケープから提案しました。「人間が原点回帰をする場所」それはファーストインスピレーションです。近年グランピング施設が話題ですが、その中でも非日常を表現すべくPalm Springsをモチーフに空間を作りました。
