Located in front of the Osaka Castle Park Station, JO-TERRACE OSAKA is a gateway space to enter the urban oasis and historic site Osaka Castle Park. The original Osaka Castle was built in the 16th century, and it has been a symbol of Osaka since then. We tried to preserve existing trees as much as possible so that it can be integrated to the surrounding woods. Also we blended seasonal plants to welcome visitors from inside and outside the country. To celebrate the history of Osaka as aquapolis, paving pattern design is inspired by a nearby river.

都会のオアシスであり歴史的場所である大阪城公園の入口に位置するジョーテラス大阪。オリジナルの大阪城は1600年代に建てられ、それ以来この城は大阪のシンボル的存在です。 私たちは既存の樹木をできる限り保存し、周りの森に馴染むよう努力しました。また、季節の樹木を織り交ぜ、海外、国内の来訪者を迎える庭としました。大阪の水都としての歴史を鑑み、床の模様は隣接した川をイメージしています。
