This is the garden from a mansion built on a slope in Mikage, Kobe. By separating the Japanese-style room from the rest of the building and connecting it to the garden, we created a teahouse-like detached space. One can approach the entrance to the teahouse by crossing the river and reaching the deck. A stream flows around the detached room and pours into the main garden. We planted deciduous trees to give it seasonal change.

神戸御影の斜面地に建つ邸宅のお庭。
建物の和室を庭側に切り離す事により茶室のような離れとし、川を渡ってデッキからのアプローチとした。その離れの周りを小川が回遊し、主庭に注がれる。落葉樹を配し、季節感を取り入れた庭となった。
