Using locally foundajistone and creating mounds, we tried to create a scene an owner of the house would have seen when he was small. Also, Ehime is the hometown of the father of Isamu Noguchi, a famous sculptor. To reflect the fact, we symbolically placed stones to create a “sculpture garden”. In a courtyard, we created a river coming from the other side, enhancing the depth of space.

愛媛の地元産の庵治石をふんだんに使い、築山をつくることにより原風景を作る庭にしました。また世界的に有名な彫刻家イサム＝ノグチの父親の故郷ということで、大きめにとった土間の中に石を象徴的に配置し彫刻の庭を作りました。中庭では川が向こう側から流れてくるつくりにし、空間に広がりを持たせました。
