I was in charge of the landscape around the residences and condominiums for wealthy foreign clients in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. In the harsh natural environment, trees and stones were selected from local materials in the surrounding area. The stone materials were black to create a sense of luxury, and the trees were selected for their ability to evoke the four seasons.
