To complement a large size residence, we created an imposing façade with a concrete gate, stone paving, and large trees. The house has U-shape and a courtyard can be seen from every side. Also, with terraces, interior space is connected to this courtyard. As such, we considered this outdoor space as continuation of living space, so we used tree curtains to screen out the neighbors and provide natural air-conditioning with tree shade. For the ground, we used white tiles and lawn to create a museum-like floor.

大邸宅の庭に重厚感のあるコンクリートのゲートと石畳を作り、そこに緑量を入れることによりやわらかさを加えました。建物がコの字型をしており、どの部屋からでも中庭が見えるようになっているほか、建物内と外がデッキや濡れ縁でつながっているので、中庭を一つのリビングスペースととらえ、樹木のカーテンで隣地を目隠しするほか、日陰で天然のエアコンの役割を果たす様にしました。また、タイルと芝で美術館のような上質な床を作りました。
