Project at a corporate lodge surrounded by Akita cedar woods The project consisted of front and rear gardens with different characters. The front garden is formal to provide a courteous welcome to visitors. It is a modern space with a checkerboard pattern of moss and granite. In contrast, the back garden is full of greenery, with rocks floating like islands in a sea of moss, taking advantage of the backdrop provided by the Akita cedar woods. This space is beautiful yearround, presenting different faces with each season, including a snow scene that are a standard feature of the Akita winter.

秋田杉の森に囲まれた保養所 建物の表と裏で違う表情のふたつの庭を作った。 表側は訪問者を向かい入れる為の格式高い庭。市松模様の苔と御影石によるモダンな空間になった。裏の庭は苔の海に石の島が浮かぶ、緑溢れる庭。裏手にある秋田杉の借景を生かした空間になった。 秋田ならではの雪景色も含めた、四季の表情が大変美しい空間となった。
